Vitamin B12 supports various metabolic processes in the body; for example, it helps with the production of red blood cells. Lamb is also a good source of easily absorbable zinc, which is essential for various fundamental processes in the body. It is also rich in iron and selenium, which are important for preventing cardiovascular disease. The fish provides the essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6.
